A Perfect Day in Phinney Ridge, Seattle
Phinney Ridge is one of Seattle's most walkable and welcoming neighborhoods, known for its tree-lined streets, Herkimer Coffee, the Woodland Park Zoo, and a string of independent businesses along Greenwood Avenue. It is also home to Bella Vita, a women's clothing boutique at 7315 Greenwood Ave N, and this is our first spring here. If you are looking for things to do in Phinney Ridge, or just a reason to get out and wander, we think this is a pretty good place to start.
Things to Do in Phinney Ridge on a Spring Day
The best mornings on the ridge begin at Herkimer Coffee, just steps from our front door on Greenwood. Grab your latte, find a seat, and let the neighborhood settle in around you. The ridge hums at its own pace on a weekend morning. Take your time with it.
From there, wander down Greenwood Avenue. The Woodland Park Zoo sits just east and is always a good reason to bring the kids along in spring, when the gardens are blooming and the animals are out. When you are ready to browse some of the best women's clothing Phinney Ridge has to offer, we will be here.
What We Are Wearing This Spring
Bella Vita is stocked with spring arrivals that feel made for Seattle. We love color, pattern, and pieces that do not take themselves too seriously, and this season we found some of our favorites yet.
The Molly Bracken Cotton Smocked Dress in Butter is exactly what a Seattle spring day deserves: 100% cotton, sleeveless, with beautiful smocking at the chest and a flared skirt that moves with you. It works at the farmers market, a birthday brunch, or just a long afternoon walk through the neighborhood.

If you run warm or want something more layerable, we are smitten with the Molly Bracken Openwork Knit Top in Red. The open-weave texture is so pretty in person, relaxed and cool without trying too hard. Throw it over the Woven Cotton Linen Striped Wide Leg Pants by By Together, and you have one of those effortless women's clothing combinations that looks put-together without a second thought. The elastic waistband and side pockets seal the deal.

For something a little crisper, the Ichi Button Down Shirt in Pink Stripe is a relaxed, drop-shoulder 100% cotton button-down that moves beautifully between weekend-casual and polished-lunch. And the Molly Bracken Smocked Cotton Shirt Dress in Red Stripe, with smocked shoulders, ruffled sleeves, and a full-length button front, is the kind of cheerful piece that makes you actually excited to get dressed.

The Finishing Touches
No spring outfit is complete without sunglasses and something to carry your essentials. The FREYRS Aria Acetate Oval Sunglasses in Milky Tortoise are handmade with acetate frames, premium CR39 lenses, and 100% UVA/UVB protection. They look expensive. They are not.

And if you have been meaning to simplify, the Crystalyn Kae Card Case Wallet in Upcycled Leather is one of our favorites. Handcrafted right here in Seattle from reclaimed leather, it comes in ten colors and fits your cards, cash, and ID in a slim little package.
End with a Bite on Greenwood
After you have browsed, head up to Greenwood for a bite. Salad Party is a neighborhood go-to for something fresh and satisfying, and Ken's Market is the kind of place where you grab a really good burger and remember exactly why you love living in this neighborhood.
We would love to see you in the shop. Stop in, try things on, say hello. That is what Phinney Ridge is for, and it is exactly why we chose to be here.
